1 year Fixed Term Contract from date of appointment Based at the Shoreham Airport Site We are currently seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified Lecturer (Senior Tutor) to give theory and practical instruction on our range of Aeronautical courses. Your main responsibilities will be to direct and ensure delivery of course design and preparation, including the provision of schemes of work and individual learning plans and carrying out course evaluation and self-assessment. You will also require the ability to add to question banks on specialist subjects. The successful candidate will have appropriate experience as a technical instructor and be able to teach to EASA standard with a good working knowledge of Part 147/66 requirements.

It is also preferred that you are a B1 or B2 licenced engineer with basic composite instruction experience (theory and practical). A teaching qualification and assessor awards are also desirable, or you should be willing to obtain these qualifications within the first 2 years of employment (PTTLs and DTTLS). An understanding of tutorial responsibilities, quality assurance procedures and current and future FE curriculum developments is also required.
