A Perth based operator is currently looking for a drilling superintendent to work on a shallow water jack-up project offshore WA. This role is a mix of office based planning and also site based superintendent work, which will require a candidate willing to work for phases on rotation.

On offer for the right candidate is a six month contract and competitive day rate, with the possibility of extension beyond based on a number of other projects.

Required skills:
Interfacing skills (ability to interface from site with the Perth office as well as service providers)
Communication skills
Previous experience in both drilling superintendent and drilling supervisors positions (previous engineering experience would be beneficial but not essential)
Working knowledge of the planning and design phase of a drilling project
Offshore, jack-up project experience (essential)
Knowledge of Australia regulations and working processes

The right candidate will be available for work as of June 2012, although earlier starts will also be considered. You must have Australian PR or Citizenship for this role.
