Our client is planning a roll out of a major PLM change program across multiple sites and business units. There is a requirement for a PLM consultant to help initiate a program of educating business users on PLM changes, the change process and potential impact on the business. The individual will work with key PLM technical authorities and technical authors to help in the development of material and training to help the businesses respond to the change.
To be a proactive self-starter, who seeks out and identifies potential clients and makes appropriate first contact in the sales cycle
To win profitable business for the Company, either from existing or new clients and build sustainable, long term relationships that encourage repeat business.
Must understand PLM and be able to identify related customer problems such that a solution can be constructed and proposed.
Must be able to follow a strategic sales cycle with engagements at all levels within an organization.
Must be able to deal with all parts of the sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
Must be experienced in developing account plans and then executing against plan.
Ability to close new business
Be able to create and deliver relevant and interesting presentations to an audience as part of the sales cycle.
Prepare revenue forecasts from pipeline, expected business and projections from previous results, formulating and agreeing targets with Operations Manager and then meeting them consistantly.
Build a credible pipeline and maintain it.
Ensure the company CRM tool is populated in accordance with company procedures and direction.
Develop a positive, team orientated relationship with the company senior management team and others within the sales team, supporting, updating and sharing information such that leads can be developed across the organization. Have a clear understanding of the climate that clients and the industry sector are operating within.
Understand and “buy-in” to the organisational strategy and develop client relationships in line with this.
