A talented Editor is now required for a global media company for their offices based in the North West. This successful organisation, aspire to report on the key developments within pharmaceutical technology and produce highly specialised journals which are renowned in the fields they serve. As an innovative organisation, they have extensive experience within a wide range of traditional media, as well as an array of digital platforms.

As the Managing Editor, you will be responsible for managing the production process for their highly successful journal which specialises in the field of chromatography. You will have the opportunity to work across a broad range of print and digital media including podcasts and webinars. This is an extremely varied role, that will involve you contributing to the content by writing, interviewing key opinion leaders, commissioning, copyediting, proofreading and article layout. Another key aspect to the role, will involve some international travel to events, where you will be expected to build strong relationships with clients from leading organisations and key opinion leaders. Furthermore, you will help to generate new ideas for content and build the business strategy.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you should be educated to degree level of about within a scientific/ chemistry discipline. Previous experience within journalism is highly advantageous (but not essential). In addition, you will be able to demonstrate strong IT skills with previous experience within InCopy, website content management systems and podcasts/ webinars.
