Childbase is currently recruiting for a Domestic Assistant to
join their friendly and professional team at Victoria House Day
Nursery in Marlow. Childbase consists of over 40 Nurseries

Victoria House Day Nursery officially opened in October 2011 and
has fantastic facilities both indoors and out. There are three main
play rooms, a cosy baby sleep room, separate milk preparation
facilities and a large outdoor play space ensure a secure, happy
and sociable environment where every child thrives and is treated
as an individual. A separate decked area for our youngest children
and two rooms with direct access to the garden offer opportunities
for all to enjoy the outdoor environment at any time of the
day.

The position is offered as part time working a minimum of 6 - 10
hours per week. The purpose of the job is to contribute to the
provisions of a quality nursery service by maintaining a high
standard of cleanliness in the kitchen area and contributing to
various domestic tasks including laundry, cleaning bathrooms and
keeping milk kitchens cleaned and well stocked. The successful
candidate may also work alongside the Nursery Cook and in
preparation of meals as required by the Cook.

The ideal candidate should have the following skills and

experience:

• A Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable.• The ability to keep

the kitchen area clean and tidy.• The ability complete all
necessary paperwork required by the kitchen in a timely and
accurate manner.• The confidence to cook for the nursery in the
Nursery Cooks absence, including dealing with various dietary
requirements. • Good communication and team working skills.•
Previous experience of working in a Kitchen is desirable.
