The Human Resources Department is looking to recruit an Human Resources Advisor to deliver a comprehensive range of HR services as part of our frontline Team. The post is fixed term to cover a period of maternity leave.

The postholder will act as a first point of contact in providing operational human resources advice and guidance to managers across a range of issues including management of attendance, conduct and capability, grievance, and change management.

Applicants must possess a postgraduate diploma in HRM or equivalent experience of working in an HR setting. Also essential is an ability to communicate, negotiate and influence a range of staff/managers. Applicants must demonstrate experience of analysing situations to advise on an appropriate course of action and organising their own workload to meet service needs and competing deadlines.

An ability to drive between sites is essential as the postholder will be expected to provide a service to sites across the Trust.

Essential Requirements:
Possession of Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources Management or equivalent
Proficient in word processing and in-depth knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages
A sound working knowledge of a range of policies and management procedures
Ability to interpret and translate detailed legislative information
Ability to judge and analyse appropriate courses of action when advising managers and staff
Ability to plan, prioritise, manage and organize workload to meet conflicting and competing service needs
Demonstrate interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate, negotiate and influence a range of staff and management at all levels within the organization
An ability to work on own initiative whilst working to tight deadlines
Committed to personal and professional development
Ability to drive as travel between Trust sites is a requirement of the post
