R&D Lab Technician (permanent and temporary role avaiable)
Circa £19,000 plus 13% benefits package
A strong team player, you will be comfortable working autonomously and unsupervised. You will provide routine testing support within the project teams developing novel biosensor technology. The testing support will be to assist scientists with experiments and will perform routine testing unaided.
Identify opportunities for improvement in a safe and compliant fashion at all times.
Ideally you will have worked in a laboratory environment before, be selfstarting and enthusiastic. You should be able to effectively carry out testing, follow procedures and have good communication skills, as you must work well both within the team and across departments. You must also be able to travel to take part in occasional R&D offsite testing.
It is important that you are self-motivated, solution focussed and committed to exceeding expectations. You will be working in a fast pace environment that encourages innovative thinking, self-management and total role accountability. You will have a good level of numeracy, literacy and also must be able to demonstrate good computer literacy.
