Administer the monthly payroll under the guidance of the Senior Personnel Assistant. Collate all payroll documentation, coordinate payroll queries from staff, and ensure appropriate records are maintained for internal/external auditing.
Liaise with the Departmental Managers/Supervisors to ensure efficient processing of payroll information.
Assist with recruitment and promotion procedures including circulation of internal vacancy notices and general communication bulletins to employees, preparation of offer letters, contracts, pre-employment medicals and references.
Administer records and reports relating to staff benefits
Assist with the co-ordination and administration of internal & external training courses.
Assist with routine responses to internal and external enquiries, referring to other colleagues as appropriate.
Liaise and share in the day to day overall personnel function responsibilities as appropriate including the general administration and processing of personnel procedures and employment services, including administration regarding employment terminations.
The ideal candidate will have:
GCSE''s or equivalent in Maths and English
Previous experience of working in a payroll environment
Good communications and organisational skills
Flexible approach to work and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Able to work on their own and as part of a small team
Competent with Microsoft packages including Word and Excel
