This position is offered as a one year fixed term opportunity.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Dietitian to join our friendly team. Homerton Hospital, which has recently merged with the Community Health Services for City and Hackney, is a modern innovative Foundation Trust serving the diverse population of Hackney. You should be a skilled and competent practitioner with experience in acute hospital dietetics. You will have an interest in nutrition support and gastroenterology and experience in parenteral nutrition support would be an advantage.
This post will enable you to develop your dietetic skills within an experienced and supportive environment gaining a range of experience covering both inpatient and outpatient work. You will be supported by the Clinical Lead for Nutrition Support to provide high quality evidence based dietetic care to patients in gastroenterology, surgery, HIV, stroke and neuro-rehabilitation. You will also provide clinical supervision for junior staff members and participate in training students on placement 1, 2 and 3.
We actively encourage CPD and are committed to regular clinical supervision. We operate a flexible working policy, are supported by the therapies administration team and have excellent computer facilities.
