We have a number of vacancies for; Support Worker / Care Staff / Carer

Locations; East Northamptonshire - Rushden, Higham Ferrers, Raunds, Thrapston, Oundle, Nassington, Collyweston, Easton on the Hill and surrounding villages

Hourly Rate: £6.53 - £7.67 per hour plus 25p per hour for NVQ2 Care plus 15% enhancement for after 7pm and weekends

Mileage paid

Full Time, Part Time and Occasional Hours available, includes weekend working

We are currently looking for support workers or care staff throughout Northamptonshire who will be responsible for visiting service users in their own homes and providing assistance with personal care and other daily living tasks.

The Role

• You will be providing assistance with personal care and other daily living tasks to service users within their own homes.
• This includes washing, dressing and mobility, thereby promoting their independence.
• You will work in partnership with service users encouraging choice, participation and motivation, adhering at all times to the values of the organisation.

Previous experience is helpful but not essential as we provide full training and the opportunity of working towards a recognised NVQ qualification.

The Person

• You need to be enthusiastic, committed and have an outgoing personality.
• Experience is a similar role is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
• Qualifications are not essential - but if you have NVQ level 2 in care there is a higher rate of pay
• You MUST be able to work alternate weekends
• You MUST be able to drive and have your own transport
