Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Subsea Reliability Engineer, based in Aberdeen
Main responsibilities will include
Consultations with business units to evaluate reliability gaps, identify improvement opportunities, and develop and implement cost effective recommendations to improve facilities reliability performance.
Management of formal reliability data collection programs and reliability databases
Reliability performance assessment of subsea facilities; analysis and presentation of failure, intervention and production/loss data and identification of reliability improvement opportunities.
Leading and assisting Reliability-centered studies and projects using advanced reliability tools and techniques such as Reliability Modeling, Life Data Analysis, RAM simulation analyses, Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA), Life Cycle Costs Analysis (LCCA) and Root Cause Analysis.
Supporting Major Capital Project Teams building inherent reliability into facilities design using Design for Reliability tools and techniques.
Supporting new technology qualification projects develop and meet reliability requirements and specifications
Facilitation and participation in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for high impact investigations
Participation in the development and delivery of training material to increase Reliability organizational capability in the subsea engineering community.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Reliability Engineering, with Post graduate reliability qualifications preferred
Knowledge of processes for designing, assessing and assuring reliability performance in both projects and operations
Knowledge of subsea facilities design, operations and inspection, maintenance & repair (IRM) programs and activities
Ability to clearly communicate via analysis, reports and presentations and be comfortable communicating and presenting to multiple levels of the organization
Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
