A major Financial Services Institution is looking to recruit an Assistant Financial Reporting Manager on a 200/day 3mth rolling contract. The role-holder will be responsible for the delivery of key elements of the Division’s monthly Flash and Board reports and Forecast/Budget reports, in addition to supporting the quarterly external results process.
Responsibilities:
- Proactive management of key stakeholders relationships and deliverables.
- Proactive management, liaison and point of contact within the reporting team, to resolve issues impacting the financial systems including associated processing and reporting.
- Delivery of reporting processes and consolidated outputs for Division Reporting in accordance with agreed timetables including ensuring appropriate review framework is in place.
- Review and development of new processes for monthly and quarterly reporting.
- Ensuring BAU deliverables are efficiently managed and that the appropriate controls are maintained.
- Provide ongoing analysis and support to key stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Qualified or in the final stages of completing a Professional Accounting qualification.
- Experience in working in a finance environment and able to work to pressured timescales.
- Working to tight deadlines & prioritising own workload and delivering high quality output.
- Confident to communicate with colleagues in other areas to jointly resolve any identified issues or challenges.
- Working intermediary knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Access, etc.
