The purpose of this role will be to ensure that our prestigious contract is run safely and efficiently to the required standard as outlined in our national SLA agreement. To manage housekeeping, liaise with clients and monitor site operations and maintain a ‘1Team’ approach to the overall operation.
The main duties would include:
- To be responsible for ensuring schedules and programs of work are adhered to and delivered to a high quality and ensure consistent standards are attained across site
- To ensure contractual requirements are met including quality audits.
- To ensure recruitment of staff are hired in accordance with Company’s terms and conditions of employment.
- To ensure all staff receive an induction.
- To lead, motivate and develop staff using the available skills and resources.
- To operate the Business Management System proficiently.
- To identify developmental needs, set targets and evaluate training needs of staff
- To actively participate in all initiatives associated with Investors in People.
- To build and maintain client relationship with customer be able to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels
- To ensure health and safety policies are adhered to and all appropriate documentation is prepared and maintained i.e. risk assessments, method statements etc.
- To maintain budgetary control on materials, equipment and wages.
- Process four weekly wage run and arrange any cover required for staff holidays and sickness
We’re looking for a candidate who has:
- Computer literate in the areas of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Similar managerial experience
- Ability to multi task, work well under pressure and use own initiative.
- Team player.
- Strong written and verbal communication style and ability to flex style to meet needs to different business units.
- Ability to work autonomously and make own decisions.
- Flexible, adaptable approach to workload.
- Able to build relationships with key stakeholders.
