Duties include:
Pro-actively seeking new business by targeting a combination of existing customer base and prospective customers.
Effectively dealing with telephone enquiries requesting quotations for products; compiling information on the desired products including prices from external suppliers.
Liaising between Production/Shipping/Finance/ Customers to efficiently answer general enquiries concerning deliveries and production and progress orders.
Producing quotations and ensure all quotations are followed up when necessary.
Maximising sales by continually expanding orders and up selling on all incoming and outgoing calls
Ensuring all orders received are entered into the system accurately.
Ensuring that the external sales team are kept informed of any developments relevant to their accounts.
Liaising on a daily basis with your colleagues and update them on any developments in your work, ensuring a high level of team relationships exist.
Providing the Management with sales reports on a weekly/monthly basis as required.
Maintaining and updating quote templates and price lists.
Ensure that all customer complaints, issues and queries reach a successful and appropriate conclusion.
Pro-actively highlighting areas where customer service and relationships can be improved and expedite changes
Enthusiastic participation in and attendance of sales skills development training activities including off site training and exams.
The ideal candidate will have a customer service background and be passionate about what they do. You must be enthusiastic and full of energy and drive.
