An exciting technology company is developing a pioneering new product for use in the renewable energy industry and currently has an opening for a design engineer to join them on a permanent basis. You will work in an advanced design engineering team tasked with modelling, and simulating emerging systems for use in the renewable power generation industry. This is a rare opportunity to join a team of expert engineers utilising some of the most advanced software systems in the country.

Responsibilities:
o Design, of a wide variety of components from sheet metal, composites, support structures, bearings using SolidWorks
o Stress analysis and Computational Fluid Dynamics investigation and reporting
o Frequent supplier/ subcontractor and customer contact
o Structural calculations and technical data analysis

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
o Ideally degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering (or related subject)
o Strong design background with working knowledge of CFD & Stress analysis
o Experience of design of rotating or large scale machinery would be a distinct advantage
