My leading client a IT services provider are looking for a Voice/Video IPT Level 1 Engineer to be based in North Wales and who will provide on going support of there video conferencing estate and secondary to this, first level support of the IPT Voice environment.
Key Responsibilities: Videoconferencing Support:
Managing requests and incidents from customers
Ensuring customer's SLA's are met
Maintaining a high level of customer delivery at all times
Maintenance and intervention
New Installations
Incident Management
Manage resolution of incident and document incidents by using CRM tool
Ensure sufficient detail in the call logs
Spare Management
Liaise with 3rd parities to ensure an efficient and speedy resolution to customer requests
VIP and Auditorium support, this will require an individual to work off-shift in emergency situations
Voice/IPT Support:
Incident management
Ticket handling and tracking
Detection, monitoring and diagnosis
incident management and resolution
Ensure sufficient detail in call logs for technical escalation or re-assignation
replacement of faulty equipment and maintenance
Experience
Proven experience in a customer support environment and a background in AV, Voice with some experience in either the Cisco or Avaya IPT environment would be advantageous
Knowledge and Skills
Networking technologies and protocols
Basic knowledge of Videoconferencing products (Polycom, Tandberg)
Graduated in Computer Sciences OR equivalent experience/knowledge is required
Ability to work in a team environment
Excellent customer service skills and customer facing skills
