As a Business Travel Group Travel Consultant you will undertake an array of tasks & responsibilities:

• Communicate with clients and convey a positive attitude
• Offer the best travel solution in relation to client specification/policy, and provide proactive advice on recommended alternatives
• Negotiate rates with suppliers to the advantage of the client and the company
• respond to enquiries in accordance with current minimum service standards
• Record all enquiry/confirmed booking details and ensure all booking files are maintained
• To maintain product knowledge/develop expertise through site visits and educationals

Business Travel Group Travel Consultant remuneration package:

Business Travel Group Travel Consultant skill attributes:

• Previous Business travel experience is essential however a leisure candidate with the right attitude and has fares and a GDS would be considered
• Strong organisational skills
• Able to prioritise and work well under
• Sound knowledge of UK geography, world geography a bonus
• Working knowledge and experience of a CRS (Galileo preferred)
• Group reservations experience in an agency or airline environment
• You will be a team player, have the ability to work under pressure and be self motivated
