Salary £14,153 - £14,864 pro rata for part time hours

The aim of the Domestic Services Department is to maintain high levels of cleanliness throughout the Trust. delivered by a professional, patient focussed team, supporting our nursing and Infection Control teams

Duties will include general and specialised cleaning in wards, public areas, hospital departments and offices using manual and mechanical cleaning equipment and techniques.
This is a physically demanding role.

You must be motivated and keen to develop yourself, working as part of the domestic services team.

Bank holiday working is required.

All staff receive 27 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays and can also join the NHS pension scheme
Experience is not essential as full training will be given will be given.

The Trust is keen to develop all staff and offers the opportunity to attain NVQ Level 2 in Cleaning Building Interiors .

Based at Southport and Formby District General Hospital but could be asked to work at Ormskirk and District General Hospital.

You will be required to complete a 'Declaration of Fitness to Practice' form if the post requires a CRB, and return it prior to interview. Trust policy is that we charge sucessful applicants for the CRB
