Cathcart Associates are now assisting one of our clients to recruit for an Infrastructure manager for a permanent position in their Dundee office.

Key responsibilities:
** leading the implementation of current Infrastructure projects
** Providing global leadership of the Infrastructure and Support team, providing staff development, prioritisation and effective utilisation of resources.
** Ensuring team objectives are achieved
** Delivering and maintaining a resilient worldwide infrastructure that meets the needs of the business
** Identify infrastructure related vendors and make recommendations on suitable providers
** Ensure Infrastructure and Support projects are delivered on time, within budget and to quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have experience in all/most of the following:
** Proven team lead/IT management experience
** Windows server 2003/2008
** Knowledge of desktop operating systems such as Windows 7
** Exchange 2007/2010
** Active Directory and Group Policy
** SQL server 2005/2008
** Experience of Virtual environments such as Hyper V and VMware
** Experience of Disaster Recovery implementation
** Ability to articulate working processes and ideas to technical and non- technical people
