As a key member of the Analytical management team, the post holder’s objective is to provide technical and managerial leadership to multiple large and small analytical teams.
The post holder will manage the progress of Analytical work and ensure that project schedules are met and that the work is carried out efficiently, compliantly and accurately, providing regular updates to their Departmental Manager.
They will actively support the Department Manager in delivering the Company’s operational and business objectives.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have a B.Sc. (or equivalent) in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry or a Life Science subject. He/She will have extensive experience of managing and leading analytical teams within a cGMP/GLP laboratory supporting the development of pharmaceutical drug products. They will have experience of leading analytical drug product development activities for many solid oral dose development projects. This experience will have been gained from projects that have supported different phases of product development. The successful candidate will also have extensive experience of conducting and leading HPLC method development and validation activities in support of drug product development, this experience must have been gained from working with many different active pharmaceutical molecules.
