We aim, through the Early Childhood Service (ECS), to work with children,
families, early years and childcare settings and partner organisations to help
ensure that every child is supported to achieve his or her potential. These
early years are when the foundations for future mental health, emotional
well-being, intelligence and parenting ability are all set in place. The home
surroundings, family life and parenting are all important factors in
determining positive outcomes for children in the future.
We have a number of full time vacancies at our Jellyfish Nursery in
Shoreham. The nursery is open 51 weeks a year offering care to 0-5 year olds
from 8am - 6pm, Monday to Friday. This nursery is connected to the local
Children and Family Centre and the nursery work in partnership with them
to support parents and the community.

Childcare Assistant
£14,733 - £15,444
Although no formal qualification is required for this post a level 2 in early
years and childcare is desirable. You must have GCSE English. A commitment
to personal development and willingness to attend training is a must.
Experience of working in a childcare setting would be an advantage.
