We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Administrator to join our Commercial Team team based in Northampton.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To provide administrative support to the Commercial Director, provide support to the department and to be the first point of contact for the commercial function.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Personally assist the Commercial Director, managing the diary, email screening and daily itinerary ensuring the Director and managers are prepared for all meetings, rooms are booked, agendas distributed and items for pre-reading are circulated.
Establish and maintain sound working relationships with key internal contacts and customers.
Manage the administration of supplier communications and conferences both specific to the category and interlinked with the rest of the buying supplier base.
Undertake collaborative working practices across the Group.
Organise and attend presentation meetings (as required), take, produce and distribute minutes to attendees and the key stakeholders.
Screen incoming telephone calls, take messages and relay as appropriate.
Help support the team to maintain a structured data management and audit trail of electronic files.
Coordinate travel itineraries and make travel bookings for the team for all foreign trips, ensuring budgets are adhered to.
Ensure relevant information is edited onto company systems accurately.
What Are We Looking For?
We are looking for an experienced administrator who has a proven track record of working in a similar supporting role. You will possess a good level of computer/systems literacy and have working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Powerpoint). Demonstrable experience of working with a high attention to detail is also required.
As you will be providing support for the Commercial Director and a number of commercial colleagues it is essential that you can evidence strong communication skills and that you are passionate about customer service.
