Our client is currently seeking a Project Manager to join their busy team. This is an 8 week temporary contract. This role would suit someone who enjoys a 'hands on’ approach and thrives in a varied and challenging environment. You would be project managing multiple Installation rollouts in supermarkets around the UK. This role is based in Bradford and would involve working 4 nights a week. You will need to have experience of managing projects in the retail environment.
You must be available immediately to be considered for this role.
The day rate for this is £175 - £200 and will be based on your experience.

Key responsibilities:
Manage prioritised projects from initialisation through to project delivery.
Facilitate effective communication between work leads, external suppliers, the customer and sponsors.
Manage scheduling of work with project team and external suppliers to deliver projects as and when required.
Manage resource requirements for projects with the business teams and external suppliers so that the correct resources are involved when required.
Provide clear and concise reporting.
Facilitate checkpoints and quality gates on projects to confirm that the project is progressing as expected and the solutions being developed will meet the business objectives.

Required skills and experience:
Project management qualification (Prince2 practitioner, MSP, APMP etc.) is desirable
Experience in the Retail Industry environment
Ability to communicate effectively with individuals and groups at all levels within an organisation
Experience of managing cross functional projects to deliver strategic, risk and operational projects
