Security Network Engineer required to join a busy, developed Network team in Doncaster on a contract basis. The Senior Security Network engineer will be responsible for the upgrade, implementation and design of current and proposed secure network architect and provide detailed advice to design architects.

Main Responsibilities:
The responsibility to the Network Manager for the day-to-day operational aspects to the converged Network Solutions within the managed service Network environments

Responsibility for development, implementation, operational acceptance and documentation of converged network architecture standards

Ensure service delivery in compliance with all service centre processes

Create and maintain accurate records of the Converged Network Infrastructure service and assets, including documentation.

The successful Network Engineer will have the following:
5 years' experience in secure WAN and LAN technologies

Experience of working as a Security Network Engineer / Security Analyst

Extensive experience with CISCO, Juniper, Checkpoint, Bluecoat and Nokia.

Good understanding of the fundamentals of all aspects of secure data networking.

Due to the nature of this work candidates must be certified in at least two of the following:

Cisco Certified Security Professional ( CCSP)

Certified Information Security Specialist Professional (CISSP)

Juniper Network Certified Internet Specialist (JNCIS)

Certified Checkpoint Security Engineer (CCSE)

Please note that due to the nature of this work candidates must hold a valid SC or DV clearance or be willing to undergo Security Clearance. Current processing time for SC clearance is approximately 18 weeks.
