Oracle ETL Developer - South West - PL/SQL, Data warehousing

LEADING BANK seeks an Oracle ETL Developer (with PL/SQL and Oracle expertise) to join their South West based team commutable from Bristol, Gloucester, Cheltenham.

The role holder will gather detailed business requirements, completing necessary analysis of data and delivering the design and testing for Oracle data warehouses and new business intelligence solutions and development enhancements. As such this will involve heavy elements of ETL, dimensional modelling and data warehouse building with Oracle and PL/SQL expertise being key. You will however be in a strategic role which will involve management and stakeholder engagement

This is for a permanent opportunity, salary up to £40,000 + great benefits (bonus, pension)

Key accountabilities:

• Supporting integration projects and analysing new data sources
• Gather business requirements for the design of Oracle BI solutions and BI development
• ETL, data warehouse building with Oracle as well as PL/SQL development
• Create and execute functional test plans.

Key skills required:

• 2-4 years experience of commercial Oracle development and Data warehouse building experience (dimensional modelling, ETL)
• Advanced PL/SQL skills are desirable
• Good knowledge of Oracle databases is desirable, not essential
• Proven experience of data modelling (specifically dimension) and data warehouse design
