Advert Service, Maintenance and Repair Engineer
We are looking to employ regional engineer based in the Nottingham area to work within our engineering team. The successful applicant will receive training from a supervising engineer for all aspects of our service, maintenance and repair operations, as well as training on all Health and Safety aspects relating to the role such as carrying out risk assessments, manual handling, working at height etc.
Applicants must be willing to travel daily and stay out when required between Monday - Friday. Generally in the region of 10 hours/day from leaving home in the morning to arriving home in the evening is an average day. All travelling hours are paid. Occasional weekend work with prior arrangement/agreement may be required.
Based on positive review and assessment throughout the training period the successful applicant will be offered a Regional Engineer position. They will be able to follow our in house Development Program to reach higher grades as experience is gained and performance reviewed.
Applicants must be enthusiastic, friendly, with a good attitude as well as be willing to learn new skills, demonstrate good practical skills, be well presented, flexible in approach and a real team member. Good English and Maths skills together with knowledge and basic use of MS Office computer skills are required. An engineering background is preferred but full training will be given. Previous experience within our industry for service, maintenance, repair and/or installation of PE equipment in schools and leisure centres may be of benefit. A CRB check will also be necessary as much of our work is within the school environment.
