Background AXA PPP Healthcare is part of AXA , the largest financial Institution in the world. We have over 70 years experience at AXA PPP healthcare and provide a range of innovative products and services to meet our clients’ private medical insurance and health care needs.
Our IT team is 150 people strong and we are currently seeking a Solution Architect to join our team in Tunbridge Wells.
Our Solution Architects produce high-level designs for projects, and provide consultancy through the later phases. We are currently working on a technical architecture modernisation programme; this is a key role for that initiative with scope for a significant personal contribution. The role In this role you will you will be designing solutions for new and existing systems to support the business. You will be contributing to the development and governance of IT strategy in the area of application architecture and associated development tools.
Our technical architecture includes our core business system on the mainframe (Membership, Policy Admin, Claims etc), a Product Configurator package, SAP , B2B and B2C eCommerce applications, integration through our ESB, Siebel CRM system, Process 360 workflow system, a packaged system for our International business, and in-house MI systems. You must have a track record of successful design roles undertaken within large projects and technically complex architectures.
Must have worked on a wide range of projects up to and including large scale programmes
Good understanding of current and emerging technologies and their potential to deliver business benefits.
Experience of working for a big company
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including negotiation and influencing skills.
ESB, Presentation (e.g. web) and Security skills – desirable but not essential.

Salary £34,120 to £48,620 depending on your skills and experience
