A leading national Media and Publishing organisation with a very strong heritage and varied product portfolio are looking to recruit a strong Field Sales Executive with a background in Media and new business development, with some account management skills. Package - base circa 22-25k plus company car allowance worth circa £3500 plus bonuses with an achievable OTE circa 35-40 k per annum.
This organisation are a genuine market leader in digital and print advertising and enjoy an enviable position on the market for being the choice provider of local and regional newspapers, magazines, niche publications, and national digital and print based press. Your role will be:
Developing relationships with businesses in the region, offering solutions to their advertising needs, discussing potential advertising space, negotiating prices.
selling the features and benefits of both digital and print space, brand development, and presenting the best solutions via a truly consultative approach. Gaining leads from the telesales staff and converting them to appointments
Maximizing revenue for all services offered by the company/ Cross- selling
Closing deals whilst on appointments
Booking in future meetings
Attending networking and social events representing the company
Ideal candidates will be commutable to York, comfortable with a role that involves 85% field based activity, some office based activity, team working, and working to targets to earn bonuses and commissions. You will need to have some previous Media Sales experience. Apply ASAP! Reed - 10 months ago
