Reval is expanding aggressively around the globe and recently acquired ecofinance Finanzsoftware & Consulting GmbH ( www.ecofinance.com ) – the leading central European provider of treasury management solutions. To support this growth and the rapidly increasing client base, the Client Services and Professional Services teams in London is being expanded.
Financial Consultants at Reval participate and lead all Treasury management & hedge accounting implementations and business process discussions with our clients. The candidate should have exceptional written, oral communication and presentation skills. The candidate will be instrumental in resolving customer issues and will report to the regional Director of Professional Services.
The focus of the role will be EMEA market comprising of the UK, Western Europe, Nordics and the German speaking countries. The role will involve some business travel and will give the successful candidate the opportunity to work with a broad spectrum of Corporations of varying size, sophistication, geography and culture.
Prospects and clients are primarily large corporate treasuries. In addition, Reval subscribers also include sell-side banks (derivatives sales desks and treasury/cash management services), Banks themselves for internal use and Big 4 audit companies.
The Reval experience will provide you with insights into how major global treasuries and banks manage their treasury operations and various financial risks in a volatile environment
Responsibilities:
Subject Matter Expertise
Provide expertise on corporate treasury operations including cash management, payments, liquidity forecasting, intercompany loans etc
Have strong knowledge of derivatives and their valuations
Project Lead/Project Management:
Lead Reval TMS product deployments for all clients in the region;
Manage client engagements;
Identify project risks and potential resolutions;
Track progress against the project plan, project contract and action items;
Communicate with other Professional Service Team members to ensure that they understand any issues, recommendations and plans;
Lead by example with excellent diligence, planning, analysis and communications;
Manage all cross-functional aspects of the project for the client.
Organizational and Departmental Management:
Coordinate interdepartmentally for all active engagements;
Work closely with Consulting Managers to set yearly strategic goals;
Apply the appropriate management techniques given project specific needs, risks and differences in core team member skill levels;
Ensure consistent implementation and use of tools, processes and procedures
