Our client is an established company who specialise in supplying high quality milled and turned components and assemblies to a wide range of industries including electronics, , motor sport and commercial aerospace industries.

They have an on-going programme of investment in new hi-tech plant to ensure the quality of their manufacturing systems and equipment, dedicated to meeting and exceeding the needs of their customers.

As part of this programme they now seek to recruit a number of skilled and time served CNC milling machinists.

Ideally experienced in both batch production and prototype work you will have programming knowledge of Mazak’s Mazitrol and Heidenhain Control systems.

The successful candidates will be time served (or equivalent) with evidence of previous experience working in a precision engineering environment.

You will have a proactive “can do -will do” approach to work, and a commitment to delivering to client expectations.

Rates are dependent on skills and experience, typically between £9.50 - £13.50 per hour, plus paid overtime at time and a half.

This will be a “Temp to Perm” assignment with the successful applicants being offered a permanent contract after 12 weeks.

Benefits will then include holidays of 20 days to start rising by one day each year to 25 days plus bank holidays and a stakeholder pension offering a generous employer contribution.
