My client is a highly regarded engineering company that caters for the needs of the Oil & Gas industry. They are renowned for their quality workmanship and as a consequence have a full order book and sufficient pipeline business to allow them to recruit new permanent members of staff
The Role:
- Set and Operate Mazak CNC Lathes
- You will have responsibility for editing CNC programs using Fanuc, Siemens or Mazatrol control panels.
- Responsible for assisting apprentices Attending tool-box meetings, to discuss issues and ways of improvement.
- Promote good house-keeping and ensure workspace is kept clean and tidy.
- You will be time served and have worked within a medium - heavy engineering environment, experience in producing Oil and Gas components poses a distinct advantage.
The individual must have vast experience Programming and Setting experience on CNC Lathes or M/C, applicants should be able to understand engineering drawings and have experience of working to close tolerances and preferably with oil-related premium threads
