Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Rigger, based Offshore

Basic Functions

Must be competent in Erecting/Rigging

Principal Responsibilities

Trade Skills

" Rigging and Working with Lifting Equipment

" Erecting Steelwork Structures

" Erecting Pre-Formed steel

" Prepare work area work area prior to any work task

" Prepare materials required for work task

" Prepare equipment required for work task

" Determine technical requirements/tools are available to carryout erecting/rigging task

" Prepare structural steel loads for moving

" Move structural steel loads

" Position and erect steel structures

" Erect structural steel sections

" Check that the steel structures are installed to specification

" Dismantle structural steel sections

" Reinstate the work area after completing structural activities

" Store Structural steel related resources for further use

Training/Experience

" OPITO approved rigging assessment stage 3

" Survival

" Mist

" Medical

" Offshore experience preferred
