Software developer - VB.Net, MVC, Burton on Trent

We are looking for a skilled .Net developer (ASP.Net, VB.Net, MVC) to work for a successful business in Burton on Trent, Staffordshire, on a permanent basis. You will need to be a motivated individual who is able to hit the ground running with the various technologies and comfortable to deal with clients daily. The following skills will be required:

ASP.Net MVC 3.0, 2.0, 1.0

HTML / JQuery / Ajax / CSS

Experience in Test Driven Development (or Behaviour Driven Development- a later variant). Ideally with the use of the following frameworks:

• Visual Studio 2010 Unit Testing tools
• Moq - Not essential but useful

SQL Server 2008, 2005, 2000

Database, Stored Procedures Design

XML - Required

.Net - Preferably .NET 4

Skills in the following would also be advantageous:
Episerver V6

Visual Studio up to 2010 (VB)

.Net 1.1 to 4

Web Services

You will need to be able to get to Burton on Trent on a daily basis as all the work is office-based. The location is commutable from Lichfield, Derby, Tamworth, and parts of Staffordshire, Birmingham, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Derbyshire.
