Our client has a vacancy for Paralegal – Residential Property Conveyancing.This would suit someone with the desire to develop their career within residential property conveyancing.You will need to have LPC or Law Degree have the ability to prioritise, use initiative and work under pressure.
Main Duties
- Provides a high quality legal service to clients within the area of Residential Conveyancing and to the level prescribed by the Head of Department.
- Deals with clients in a professional manner, maintains continuing contact and issues client care documents at the appropriate time.
- Deals effectively and efficiently with enquiries from telephone callers and clients.
- Maintains good file management.
- Understands the obligations relating to client accounts and ensures preparation and delivery of bills in accordance with the Solicitors’ Accounts Rules and, where applicable,
- Law Society and specialist directives.
- Keeps abreast of all professional developments in own area of work and undertakes such training as necessary.
- Ensures personal time recording and billing targets are achieved.
- Ensures that all chargeable work on client matters is properly entered from time sheets and charging units accurately recorded.
- Contributes to the operational efficiency of the department by participating in department
and team meetings and by developing legal, management and personnel skills within the team context.
- Ensures confidentiality and security of all firm’s and clients’ documentation/information.
- Promotes at all times the professional services provided by the firm.
