Access Recruitment are recognised as one of the Province's leading suppliers of professional and executive staff. We are working with a well established Telecoms firm recruiting for an Account Manager to join their team.
Duties will include:
Identifying new and potential customers and follows-up qualified leads from other sources to build relationships in order to increase revenue.
Visits customers and makes them aware of client's products, services and network capabilities.
Uses consultative interviewing to research customer's critical business processes, plans and strategies, and identifies needs and competitor environment
Manages overall business relationship between existing/prospective customers and client so that the opportunity to do business is a natural and logical result.
Develops and delivers bid/proposal and manages closure of the sale.
This is a busy yet rewarding role and to be successful candidates should have:
5 years experience in sales in a company known for their excellence in pro-active, professional account management and development.
Previous sales experience in network services with an emphasis on new business solutions through pro-active account management and development.
Successful track record of sales in the communications industry, characterised by strategic account selling to medium to large corporate organisations.
Experience and understanding of telecommunications systems and products.
Proven track record as a high achiever.
Able to work under pressure and to overcome resistance to achieve results.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Full driving licence.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Desirable skills include:
In depth technical knowledge of telecoms product/services including circuits, Centrex, internet, mobile, CPE, IVR, NTS, VoiP, and networking
Able to build long term relationships with internal/external customers.
Strong consultative interviewing skills
Proven track record as a high achiever.
Able to work under pressure and to overcome resistance to achieve results.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Full driving licence.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
