The Role

To work in Network Security Support team in the technical field of firewalls, working on day to day support and also new implementations based at Sol20 but willing to travel from time to time to the customer site based near Milton Keynes.

Key supported technologies are Checkpoint and Cisco based firewall technologies. The role may require the individual to become part of the Out of Hours rota providing support out of hours to Fujitsu's customers.

Skills

As a Firewalls Security Engineer your skills and qualifications will ideally include:-

Adheres to strict security processes.
Has a proven working knowledge and experience of a range of firewall devices particularly Checkpoint & Cisco technologies. Understanding and experience of incident and change management processes and toolsets.
Checkpoint R60, R65 & R75
Cisco ASA
Understanding of security procedures
Aptitude towards Problem Solving
Understanding of network protocols.

As a Firewalls Security Engineer your personal attributes will include: -

Attention to detail and focus on procedures and documentation.
Ability to work under pressure and be flexible.
Customer focussed.
Good communication skills

Responsibilities

Job Purpose and Accountabilities:
The role may require the individual to become part of the Out of Hours rota providing support out of hours to Fujitsu's customers.

Any individual accepting this role must agree to go through DV security clearance vetting if required and that they may be required to adopt a different working pattern
