We are recruiting for an experienced and creative Print / Web Designer to join a well-known business in Welwyn Garden City. You will have the opportunity to deliver creative solutions across varying media channels, including Print, Branding and Digital / Online. Above all, we are looking for somebody who has a creative flare, and somebody who can be passionate about developing a brand through rich media. Applicants must be keen on keeping abreast of emerging technologies within media, particularly design programmes such as InDesign, FreeHand, Illustrator, Photoshop, 3Ds Max, Acrobat, Director, Dreamweaver and Flash.

You will be maintaining an offline portfolio, helping to drive off-to- online traffic, by offering a best-in-class customer experience. You will be creating banners, using Flash to create elements for the website such as mini games, attention grabbing competitions, MPU's and banners. The successful Digital / Print Designer will come from a Digital background, being able to work off their own initiative, as well as part of a team. You will be an excellent communicator, who will be able to work closely with clients in order to take an initial concept through to a visual design.

Previous Experience

• You will have proven experience in design across both online and offline channels
• Advanced graphic design skills
• Proven experience of using InDesign, Photoshop, Flash
• Adobe Flash-based animation experience and programming capability
• HTML/CSS knowledge and experience
• Brand aware, with the ability to design to compliance and use styles sheets and templates
• Proven experience of devising creative design solutions for offline and online channels (printed collateral, eDMs, online banners, hub pages, micro-sites)
• Knowledge of print production and ability to brief external suppliers
