I have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Manager to join an already established team in the Hamilton area of Scotland.
Your role will include but will not be limited to the following:
Ensure that all procurement and supply chain related activities are carried out to the desired standard.
Secure best value, on time delivery for all materials, goods, services and sub contract works for turnover and profit.
Ensure that all materials and goods procured are within the Railway Group and Line standards.
Participate as a senior member of the procurement and bidding team.
Ensure compliance with all company and group commercial, financial and safety, quality and environmental policies.
Coordinate the procurement processes.
Provide regular compliance monitoring.
Develop and implement KPI's
Develop and implement a supplier review forum for key suppliers.

You must hold a degree or equivalent in a business related subject or similar and studying towards CIPS.
Ideally you will be a member of CIPS
Technical qualifications would be an advantage.
