We have an exciting vacancy within the Democratic and Electoral Services team.

We are looking for a confident, articulate person to fill this role. Duties will include attending meetings and taking minutes, supporting the team in all aspects of preparing for an election and compiling the Register of Electors.

You will need to be a flexible team player with excellent organisational, written and verbal communication skills, political awareness, a confident and positive disposition and the ability to work with people at all levels. You will also be proficient in the use of ICT.

You will have an understanding and knowledge of local government and how democracy works.
