Part Time HR Administrator
Norbert Dentressangle - Avonmouth
In October 2012 Norbert Dentressangle will be working on a new site in Avomouth in conjunction with our well established FMCG customer. This is a great opportunity to join the team from day one in assisting the operation to achieve it`s maximum potential.
A part time HR Administrator is required to join the team working 25 hours per week. The purpose of the role is to provide the first contact for all Norbert Dentressangle colleagues on site for HR queries, addressing issues as necessary or referring to the HR Manager giving a comprehensive handover
Main accountabilities to include but not be limited to:
Manage, maintain and control time and attendance for the site
Management of uniform allocation and issues
Manage and update personnel files
Accurate recording of average working week hours
Day to day admin function for the contract
Minute taking and HR witness notes at meetings
New starter administration
Checking and obtaining all eligibility to work documents
Daily T&A checks and solving any clocking issues
Proactively initiates and generates ideas
General HR administration
The successful candidate will have:
An understanding of Employment Law
Certificate in Personnel Practice or working towards it would be desirable (CPP)
High level of experience in Microsoft, especially Word and Excel
Excellent grammar and numerical skills
Effective communication skills, at all levels
Ability to work under pressure and react quickly to customer requirements
Organisational skills and a methodical approach
Financial and commercial awareness
Administration experience
Demonstrable time management skills
Planning and organising skills
