Our client is a well established retail business with opportunities for Store Managers and Assistant Store Managers.
The successful candidates will have previous retail management experience and hold a full driving licence as they will be required to travel to other stores.
Reporting to the Area Manager and Store Manager the purpose of the role is to achieve the highest sales possible for the store whilst ensuring excellent customer service, consistent store standards and optimum productivity is maintained.
Main duties will include but are not limited to handling customer complaints and up scaling if necessary, authorising duties of all employees, planning working hours and staff holidays, authorising voids and refunds, stock ordering, training new members of staff, preparing sales and productivity reports, controlling the cashing up of the tills and balancing floats, carrying out spot till checks, controlling deposits into the safe and handing cash bags to the security company.
