The Information Services Group (ISG) is responsible for providing authoritative sources of reference data to our clients across the Institutional Client Services (ICG) organization, through implementing state of the art technologies which promote the collection, storage, analysis, and distribution of product, pricing, account and corporate action data. The ISG organization works in partnership with data clients across all Institutional Client Group business lines, deploying solutions to increase their competitiveness, through restructuring business processes, simplifying information access, and providing business intelligence around critical data.
The ISG group primarily facilitates the collection, storage, analysis, remediation and distribution of Accounts, Entities, Clients, Securities, Prices and Corporate Actions to clients across the Institutional Client Services (ICG), Global Functions Technology Services (GFTS) organizations, Global Transaction Services (GTS), and Securities
and Fund Services (SFS). Our group is quite unique in that it provides both Technology and Operations capability, over the last year our teams in Belfast have experienced a significant level of growth - with an established hub providing reference data coverage across the firm.
The ISG group is responsible for management of business information used throughout Citi. This information facilitates both day to day operation of our business, as well as assisting with longer term strategy and planning.
Our Technology teams have a broad responsibility for developing & supporting the technology platforms to manage this data, and also for sourcing and maintaining the data itself. These platforms are critical to our institutional clients trading in the FX, Equities, Fixed Income and Derivatives markets, as well as for clients of our Prime Brokerage, Corporate Banking, and Funds businesses.
Our Operations teams provide a centralized service to both our Sales & Trading desks and business units that require client/product reference data to facilitate trading, settlement and reporting of trading activity.
Role : Strong, experienced Business Objects developer responsible for providing development leads to map ad-hoc reporting requirements in XMC supporting various data domain in ISG group. Key responsibilities include :
Responsible for building up a brand new Business Objects environment leveraging the Citi standard infrastructure; Accountable for understanding physical / business data requirements and produces effective Business Objects data universes to allow users to do ad-hoc reporting via web intelligence reports over the web; Create complex reports based on user requirements; Lead other junior developers and work closely with our business analysts and business stake holders; Act as Business Object SME and interface with teams to provide integrated platform. Qualifications
Knowledge/Experience:
Extensive working knowledge with latest versions of Business Objects, BO XIR3 and BO XIR4;
Experience in modeling various physical data sources into complex business data unverses;
Understand Business Object architecture to use various components in Business Object to best fit requirements;
Ability to create complex data universe with optimization for very large data sets;
Good working knowledge with various Business Object interfaces including the BO SDK / web services for customization / integration with other web sites;
Good understanding of data security and how to model data security in Business Objects;
Working experience with various relational databases and SQL; Ability to create reports, report templates, and dashboards based on business requirements;
Experience in supporting large scale project and have good troubleshooting and analytical ability to provide level 3 production support in case of outages.
