Our Architecture Manager Responsibilites
- Lead a team of solution, software and user experience architects to enable the delivery of unique software solutions within Truphone under challenging deadlines.
- Create and maintain the architecture roadmap, ensuring the IT Systems strategy is aligned with the business.
- Provide daily line manager support for the architecture team.
- Support the delivery function by controlling resource allocation and ensuring that appropriate resourcing is maintained for current and future projects.
- Communicate regular status updates within the delivery team.
- Ensure issues are identified early and that corrective action is taken to support successful project delivery.
The Architecture Manager should be able to:
- Demonstrate a minimum of five years’ experience in a full lifecycle environment. Excellent understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle across various development methodologies, in particular with an agile approach.
- Proven experience of leading complex projects throughout the complete development lifecycle in an enterprise scale SOA environment.
- Excellent people management and organisation skills..
- Strive to continuously improve the IT systems.
- Show enthusiasm and passion for technology and be keen to learn new skills.
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
- Capable of thinking in a strategic manner.
Our Architecture Manager – Desirable Skills and Experiences
- A broad understanding of different BSS concepts including rating, billing and CRM systems.
- A background in telecommunications
- Demonstrate a technical background to enable communication with a technical team.
- Exposure to both Waterfall and agile software development models.
- The ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team of technical architects.

Our Architecture Manager - Qualifications
- The candidate will have an academic background with a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
Architecture Manager – Bits and Pieces!!
Basically, you'll work between 37.5 and 40 hours a week, from 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. However, you may often need to work extra hours.
Your role will be based in their London office.
