My client is one of the most recognisable brands in Scotland, and part of a very successful global group. They have a unique opportunity for an experienced manager to take control of their Web Development team, owning major development projects and managing both front and back end development teams.

The role will suit an experienced man manager, used to driving and motivating technical teams in a fast paced and dynamic environment. The role is not hands on technical, but an understanding of web and/or database technologies would be advantageous as you be responsible for communicating technical issues to a variety of stakeholders and the day to day running of the team.

Key competencies -
** Able to lead and motivate a technical team to tight deadlines in a fast paced, challenging environment
** Strong management communication style - happy to face off against senior business stakeholders and express your views
** Manage multiple concurrent projects from new systems development, systems enhancements and on-going support of the sites
** Able to interact with and manage front-end web developers and back-end database developers to produce cutting edge front-end design and development and complex database driven websites
** Exceptional time management skills in a very demanding environment along with excellent communication skills at all levels
** Knowledge of and passion for digital technologies
