Some previous Food & Beverage serving experience within within 4 star hotel environment or similar
Skills and Knowledge
An innovative approach with strong customer service skills.
Ability to work alone and as part of a team
Previous customer service experience
A keen eye for detail.
Education or Certification
Reasonable level of English essential
Basic Food Hygiene
The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position
To ensure that Company standards and guest satisfaction are maintained at all times .
To ensure that the Health, Safety & Hygiene policies of the hotel are adhered to at all times.
To ensure a smooth service delivery within the Banqueting function is delivered to at all times.
To be fully knowledgeable of menu, layout of room and service product.
To adhere to and actively promote the Spirit to Serve concept.
To set-up and ensure function room layout is to the customers specification.
To be flexible in approach and to adapt to suit customer needs.
To carry out all reasonable requests given by a shift leader, supervisor or Manager.
To ensure that all billing procedures are carried out promptly and correctly to avoid any loss of revenue.
To deal with any customer complaints, and refer any outside of his/her area of responsibility to the Banquet & Events Manager, Conference and Banqueting Team Leader/ Duty Manager or Operations Manager.
