The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) has been established as the organisation that will plan and stage the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The LOCOG Security and Resilience team is responsible for the provision of ‘in venue’ security for the 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games. It works closely with the law enforcement agencies to ensure a cohesive and coordinated security response.

LOCOG are looking to recruit numerous Venue Security Managers who will deliver ‘in venue’ security operations

You will be expected to manage our third party guarding, equipment and security infrastructure contracts therefore it is essential that you have experience in this area. You will ensure that their plans are fully integrated and reflect the aims and objectives set out in the LOCOG Security plan.

The Security Managers will:

• Deliver the security overlay plan for in venue security at LOCOG competition and non competition venues.
• Compile venue security plans with key stakeholders.
• Integrate third party commercial contracts into effective operational delivery plans.
