Office Administration and Customer Services Technicians are our front line in communicating with customers and our field sales force. The majority of their time is spent handling inbound calls, conducting sales and service conversations and processing orders. They must be knowledgeable across the range of products and services the company offers and comfortable dealing with all types of customer interaction in a professional manner. They will use computers and specifically our ACCESS Business System for increased efficiency. The office environment can be busy and, at times, pressured making a systematic, organised approach necessary.
Main duties of the role include:
1. Answering, processing and directing incoming calls in a professional and efficient manner.
2. Processing customer orders through the company’s ACCESS business system
3. Processing orders and carrying out administrative duties for assigned field sales representative(s)
4. Responsibility for stocking, merchandising and internally promoting the company’s on-site trade showroom and attending to customer needs in the showroom.
5. Dealing with general customer enquiries about the entire range of products and services offered and attending to customer issues and complaints.
6. Maintaining accurate and detailed record of customer and prospect interactions in Access CRM system
7. Specific projects in data mining, data entry and data cleansing
8. Occasional assistance with order fulfilment and dispatch
9. Assistance with stock taking
Person Specification
The successful candidate must meet the following essential criteria:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a busy commercial environment
- Thorough knowledge of MS Office and experience working with CRM Software
Knowledge of Beauty Industry, related products and beauty therapy qualifications would be a distinct advantage.
