£21,000 + £2400 shift allowance

My client a global leader in design and manufacturing of automotive components who employ over 700 staff at their site in Bradford are looking to recruit a Tool maker to their team. This company are investing £1 million into this site alone next year and constantly growing within their market. Looking to expand also into China, the US and Brazil. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that have been established for over 50 years with the knowledge that you are key player within this expanding and sustainable company.

A fully skilled and apprentice trained tool maker is required, with an understanding of health and safety. Excellent machining skills will be expected to be carried out on all duties of the role within the tool room.

Duties and Responsibilities -

• Reading and interpreting drawings
• Repair, modify and manufacture pressed tools, jigs and fittings
• Produce parts for machinery using milling, drilling and grinding machines

Experience and Skills required: -

• Apprentice Trained tool maker
• Milling, Grinding and Drilling machine skills
• Problem solving attitude
• Able to read and interpreted drawings
• Team Player
