Keeping our networks safe from malicious activity is a critical job. As our Principal Security Engineer, it'll be down to
you to protect and monitor our systems, using IDS/IPS technologies. It means defining and configuring IDS/IPS monitoring
solutions, and developing and testing the signature and anomaly-based monitoring rule sets to identify key events
(including data leakage and network intrusion). You'll also work with the Network Operations team and the wider business,
providing training for colleagues and support for other security teams.

To join us, you must be a security specialist with a strong technical background. You'll have extensive knowledge of

security devices and technologies including:

• Firewalls and log management solutions
• IDS/IPS Technologies
• SQL, Windows, Unix environments
• Networking (TCP/IP)
• CCNA/CCSP
• CEH
• GIAC Certification (GCIA, GCIH, GCFA)
• CISSP
• MCSE

You should also be familiar with mobile applications and technology (eg mobile web/WAP/SMS/MMS) as well as good
engineering practice. With this expertise, plus your strong communication skills, you'll be equipped to troubleshoot
network-affecting issues, even under pressure.
