As part of their controlled expansion they are looking for a high calibre Design Engineer, to work closely with Senior Management, and joining their Manufacturing site of excellent. The Design Engineer will take complete ownership of new product design from inception through to final production. This is a great opportunity to progress your career, especially if you feel you have reached your peak or are looking to take that step into management but still want to be hands on, who can cope with the responsibility of running their own design department.
The Person
Will be comfortable with Autocad Inventor 2012 .
Experience of Electromechanical design, plastic moulding and pressing would be an advantage.
Main Duties / Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will be involved in projects from the concept and detail of the design through to implementation, testing and handover to production and the customer.
- Preparation of designs from concept through to release and implementation.
- Liaising with other departments, suppliers and clients
- Adapt quickly and appropriately to different projects, people and situations.
- Have the appropriate interpersonal skills to communicate with all departments and levels of the organisation.
